We specialize in large structural steel and have painted a single weldment as large as 150 feet long and weighing as much as 50,000 pounds.  We can blast and paint the interior of pipe, tanks and hoppers. We also do smaller items on our conveyor line, which is equipped with an oven to force cure liquid paint systems.  The small line will handle parts up to 3200 pounds, 20 feet long, 6 feet high and 4 feet wide.  We have recently added another blast station and another paint booth to accommodate smaller quantity projects.

We can blast using G-50 steel grit, G-80 steel grit, all grades of glassbead and many other alternate media such as walnut shell, Starblast, garnet and aluminum oxide.  We blast and paint the interior of pipe, tanks and hoppers as well as large and small machine components and structural steel.

Automatic Blast Features:

• Our new 21,000 SF addition brings our total facility size to 60,000 SF. We have added a new 8' wide plate and 36" flange Pangborn Automatic Blast Machine as well as an additional paint booth and a glass bead booth. The installation of 4 additional bridge cranes brings the total number of cranes to 7 (4 at 10-ton, 3 at 5-ton).

The Large Blast and Paint Line Features:

• Blast with G-50 steel grit.
• The blast booth is 25' wide x 20' high x 60' long.
• The paint booth is 20' wide x 20' high x 60' long.
• Both the blast booth and the paint booth have 3-axis manlifts to facilitate processing of large items.

The Small Blast and Paint Line Features:

• Blast with G-80 grit, 120 garnet or any grade of glass bead. Glass and garnet blasting is done using virgin material to eliminate any contamination.
• This line continues with an overhead conveyor to move parts through the paint booth and into the small oven.
• The maximum piece size for this system is 4' x 6' x 20' and a weight of 3200 pounds.
• The oven is a hybrid combination of convection and infrared heat sources, providing maximum flexibility.
